Our Rooms

We strongly believe everyone should have access to workplaces and services that support their health and wellness in a safe and suitable environment. As such all rooms, and our space in general, are fully accessible and have been designed to provide a calm and welcoming environment to support all practitioners and clients, including those with disability, neurodiversity, and the elderly.

With five rooms we think we provide opportunities for collegiate interactions and cross-referrals within the shared environment, without the chaotic atmosphere that can come from too many people coming and going from too many consulting rooms.

All rooms are moderate to large in size, have good soundproofing and provide the warm and tranquil environment you need to support your work. Rooms are all fully furnished with quality, comfortable and tasteful furnishings including armchair, sofa, desk and office chair. One room contains a small sink and a massage/treatment table, so is suitable for more hands on therapists. Individually controlled heating and cooling and dimmable lighting is provided in each room, as is high speed internet to facilitate your administrative and telehealth work.

Our consulting rooms are designed to be used by a range of mental health, allied health and wellness practitioners such as psychologists, social workers, massage therapists, myotherapists, dietitians, naturopaths, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and more.

License agreements can be provided on a half day, full day or weekly basis with rates from $110 per half day | $150 per full day | $730 per week. On Saturdays half day rates apply for full day rental.

Our Facilities

Comfortable waiting area. A welcoming and comfortable waiting area is provided to ensure you make the right first impression with your clients.

HICAPS/EFTPOS. Ensures easy payments and health insurance claiming and a rent free, low fee option for processing payments. This provides convenience for your clients and can represent significant financial savings for you.

Full kitchen. Including dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toasted sandwich maker, tea/coffee making facilities, crockery and cutlery, and a space to sit and have lunch. Quality glassware is also available to offer clients water.

DDA accessible toilet. Because we are dedicated to providing a genuinely accessible space for clients and practitioners.

Storage room. Providing space to store small items that you don’t want to carry in and out each week.

Printer and fax service. A laser printer is supplied. Access to fax by email service is also available on request (this is an outgoing service only), providing a convenient way to send communications to referrers.

Attention to your needs. Extra care is taken to ensure your needs as practitioners are met. While you are not obligated, we want to ensure that if you decide to locate your practice with us, you want to stay here for the long-term. Stability amongst our practitioners is good for everyone. This means genuine engagement to ensure your needs are understood and met, and that you have the environment you need for your practice to grow and thrive.

The Local Area

Located in the exciting residential, retail and entertainment precinct of East Brunswick Village means there is a wealth of amenity, and potential clients and referrers, on our doorstep. This includes:

Secure, undercover parking. The first 90 minutes is free. Fees are capped at $8 per day.

Easy access to public & sustainable transport options. The 96 tram from St Kilda via Bourke St stops on the doorstep. The 508, 506 and 504 buses all stop very close or a short walk away. There is also ample bicycle parking onsite.

Referral/client opportunities. Consisting of about 350 residential apartment buildings EBV provides close proximity to a large number of potential clients. In addition to this, East Brunswick Consulting Suites is located within an intentional health & wellness centre that includes Inner North Medical Centre and Project Better gym providing opportunities for incoming referrals and client engagement (as well as a convenient way to take care of your own health and wellness needs).

Security presence. Your safety, and that of your clients, is important. EBV provides a security presence onsite, giving you that extra piece of mind.

Cafes and restaurants. We all need to know we can get good coffee or food when we need it. East Brunswick Village is home to diverse options for coffee or lunch including Bellboy cafe, Rocket Society, Chimmy’s bakery, Tacoya Nori Express, and Bridge Road Brewers. If you want to stick around after work then add FOMO cinema or the iconic Rumi Restaurant to your list. Further afield Rusty’s sandwich parlour, Wildlife bakery, Ceres, Mary Miller cafe, Baketico and all that Lygon St has to offer are all a short walk away.

Get groceries on your way home. With Coles supermarket, Blackhearts and Sparrows, Chimmy’s bakery and Wholefood organic store all located within EBV it can’t be easier for you (or your clients) to grab some provisions for dinner on your way home.
